Basic Daoyin Qigong exercises
The sitting exercises work on the waist. Lying down helps to relax the spine, open kua (groin) and stretch your ligaments. These are excellent exercises to prepare the body for internal training.
Pole standing “zhang zhuang” is about “zhong ding” which is a feeling of the center line, and vibrating the body to loose tension. Through this exercise you will learn how to build up Qi and feel subtle changes and openings in the body.
